Even though we just celebrated Christmas, I’m already well on my way to purchasing gifts for next year. I shop year-round and pick up items that I see are a good deal. I signed up for their daily deals, and receive an email that contains 8 new deals every day. Yes, you heard that correct – 8 new deals every day. Just to give you an idea of some of their deals, today they have Shorty Capone Sneakers for only $49! These usually run in the range of $200 and up. Now that is a good deal!
Although I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing one, they also have what are called “insanity deals” every month that includes items that are discounted up to 90% . I can’t wait to have one of these pop up for me and I hope it is something I really want!!
Have you ever been shopping online and you find something you really love, but can’t find the shipping cost until you check out? This is so irritating to me because I usually will not waste my time shopping around on a website if I (1) Don’t have a coupon code or (2) Have no idea how it will cost to ship the item(s). Just one last thing to be aware of: In late 2011, Nomorerack was hacked. From experience, I know that websites are hacked on occasion and this is the risk you run when you purchase items online and provide credit card information – basically, it is a way of life now. When they were hacked, they immediately released a statement and promised that no credit card information was compromised. Unfortunately, even the most loyal of followers started to call this hacking a nomorerack scam. This is just not the truth. Most of us probably never even hear about it when an online store is hacked because they choose not to release immediate information. If you are weary of the scam, just make sure you do your research before you completely write them off.
